Hi everyone,
My son & family have recently moved in to a house that appears full of DIY disasters. The latest find is that when the bath is emptied from full, water begins to leak from the waste outlet that's attached to the bath. I've taken it off to find the hole that's been made in the bath isn't a neat circle as I expected but is just a messy hand-sawn cut which I think is probably too big. I've tried to refit the outlet assembly with plumbers mate on the top of the bath & sealant on the underside of the fitting in the hope that I'm wrong so we'll see what happens! Meanwhile, is there any fitting you can buy that is a bit wider than normal? Having to fit a new bath would be pretty bad as it's a tiny bathroom & everything else would have to come out to get a new one in!
