Eggshell is self-undercoating , apply 2 coats as one (acrylic coat)probably wont cover.youll need to rub down the gloss to provide a good key for the acrylic..
Acrylic wil not give you the same quality of finish as an oil-based paint though..Its hard work trying to eradicate brushmarks..
