I am about to undertake a project where I will be using MDF to create a raised wainscot panelling system in my hallway.
After I "raise" the MDF panel I believe I need to seal the exposed now faces of the MDF to ensure an even paint coverage?
I have a gallon of cellolose based sanding sealer which I was intending to seal the MDF with. Then top coat with Leyland actylic Eggshell paint.
Is this a suitable combination? will I need to undercoat/primer after sealing. Is Leyland Acrylic Eggshell a suitable paint for MDF.
Any advice greatly recieved.
Many thanks
David
