Hi Guys,

Can you tell me what is the difference between Active & Non Active Flux.

Thanks in advance

Active also grows green growths which block gas pipes, and if not flushed from a system really well, will rot your radiators.
"Yorkshire" is about the only non-active I think, "LaCo" is OK on gas and a good compromise. "Everflux " is about the most active - great for DIY as long as you flush very well.

Active flux on CH systems needs chemically cleaning imho.

chris have you ever tried Powerflow? Also tried Fernox stuff. Its ok but hard to brush on the parts as it has the consistency of axle grease.

Powerflow is between LaCo and Everflux for "cleaning". I used it for a while but found it burns if you let it. Fernox was made to be the same as LaCo
