Hi all,

Question: Are Yorkshire fittings the same thing as capillary fittings????

Yorkshire fittings are the "mean" looking ones and sound funny and miserable, the female ones are particularly ugly looking, comes with yokshire teas.
 
Yorkshire fittings are so named after a specific manufacturer when in fact other manufactureres make them too. I presume Yorkshire must have been the first to patent it (Chris R will know)
Normally means they have integrated solder in the fitting hence the proud ring, whereas end feed fittings will need solder to be applied :)

Yeah, they are 2 miles away from me. I take it they make Yorkshire fittings ;)

absoultely correct, I can vouch for this, with some first hand experience with these yorkshire types.

mean, ugly looking bunch, realistically, they have now been superceeded by better models.
