There is a 4mm feed to the garage from the house main via a 16mcb. In the garage there is a fused switch with 2 fuses. 16A for sockets and 5A for lights.
There are two double sockets each wired separately using 2.5mm. I want to add a further double socket. Can I use a 30amp connector from one of the wires to the sockets. Please see the image I have uploaded.
I would be using at least 3 of sockets at the same time i.e. for a treadmill, cross trainer and a radio. The lights would also be one consisting of two florescent tubes.
Will my proposed addition work and would the load be OK?
