One or more of your terminals not tightened enough is the first thing to look for. Is the originating socket working OK - problem could be at either end of the wire. And we'll assume you got the L, N and E in the correct holes ....

Assuming you have wired it correctly and it was working before hand.
If there is only one of each conductor then this could be part of a radial circuit or a spur from a ring main which may itself be controlled by a switched fused connection unit which may have been turned off.
