Hello

I would like to add a radiator to my living room, the easiest way I can see is if I tee off from the rad in my hallway and take the pipes through the wall into the living room. Is it as easy as that or will the output of both radiators be reduced. Any input would be helpful.

Thanks

Andy

I've done exactly the same as you and not has any problem.Just think of it as double radiator with the wall in the middle! If you got a wall room thermostat near it you might have to re-locate it.

With an extra radiator there is bound to be some more heat loss and the temperature of water returning to boiler will be reduced.
You will find your boiler will have be on a little longer to achieve the temperture set by the boiler stat but that shouldn't be a problem so long as your not adding half a dozen radiators
