Adding a trellis when rebuilding a fence

Hi

Hoping to rebuild my fence at the end of the garden.

It's standard construction - horizontal, triangular rains going into the fence posts and vertical planks nailed on.

I'm planning on replacing it with something exactly the same but want to add a trellis on top. The posts are concrete so not sure of the best way to raise the height to take a trellis

Can anyone help?

you may have to use the fence and attach surports to it for the trellis work...either that or change the posts for taller ones....alot of hard work tho, surports are easier...
