Can anybody with some knowledge please tell me if it possible to add a new spur to and exisiting ring circuit that already has a spur in place. Is it a hazard or will it be ok to wire this up?

Thank you

Its fine so long as you spur off a socket in the middle of the ring, and not from an existing spur, no problems. (unless you ring has more spurs than ring, which is possible, but unlikely).
Better if you can do it neatly to extend the ring, so the new socket is fed from both sides too, but not essential. The biggest no-no is spurs on spurs.

Thanks for your advice. I will look at how the ring is set out before I connect it up.

Thanks
