I need to add an extra Zone into my central heating that's independently controlled. I'm going to use 2x 2-way valves, one in the original pipework and the other on the new zone that comes off of a T.
Do I need to do this on both the flow and return or can I get away with doing it on just the flow?

Thanks.

I meant get away with using valves only on the flow. That's saved me £90 then thanks!

What's the minimum distance from the boiler I can use John Guest connectors? Is it 1.5 meters?

Thanks.
It's in the loft so no-ones going to see it!
Also at the price of £28.99 for 30 meters of 22mm I couldn't refuse!
