I think what they were saying was that by asking them to get a test done, all they would do is ask an electrician to do the work. They would be nofitied by an electrican who does the work so there s no need to involve them before they receive the report. Sort of makes sense.
Also, when you refer to stated charge, is there a tariff for this type of work then?
