Hi,

I am installing two new radiators to my house and wondered if its ok to use plastic pipe and fittings? I will use copper pipe from below the floorboard to the valve, but for the rest I would prefer the ease of plastic.

I am sure that I have heard plastic is not best for a sealed system, especially push in type connectors.

Any comments?

Personally I don't think you can beat copper, plastic has a habit of getting dragged round the floor and scuffed (and then subsequently leaking) not necessarily by you but before it ever gets to you in the merchants. That said it is quicker and is popular amongst developers.
