Adding UFH circuit to conventional rad system

Quick question.
Adding an UFH circuit to an older radiator system. Was thinking of a adding extra zone valve + 1chan programmer done in unipipe. Would have to work closely with builder, that could be the most difficult bit??
I know it could be done various ways, but better in screed me thinks as its downstairs?

The question is. Is this how you would do the job??
I have seen UFH mixed down to a lower temperature, why is this done?
Does UFH need the thermal actuators or can it be done manually?
