I have a 2000mm wide, 40 year old aluminium sliding patio door. Left panel fixed, right panel slides. All in great working order, seals all good. Only downside - a single locking mechanism on the sliding door, with a Yale style key. I'm removing my conservatory, which has multipoint locking. What recommendations are there for adding security to this existing door? The fact that the sliding half is the OUTER panel is a PITA as patio bolts will be exposed to tampering, and so fairly useless. Thanks.
