Most likely a bad connection to the flowmeter.
Left hand panel off, connector is at the bottom near the front. Pull off the plug, plug it on again and try the machine.

How did the switch get wet?
Dampness in any of the connections will cause the machine to throw up error codes.

Ah, Sorry, you need a new water indicator. Bypassing it won't work.
