I have the above mentioned laptop.

It has a broken screen but I have a monitor connected to it. The trouble is that when it starts into Windows, the monitor goes off and the laptop screen, which is kaput comes on and I then can't do anything with it.
Does anybody know how I can get the monitor to stay on?
EDIT; found it. I clicked on my own link and saw this;
"Fn + F3 - Toggle display output"
