Hi,

The flush on our bathroom toilet has started to take an age to refil the cistern - I think a washer has gone.

I remember replacing the washer about 2 years ago and from what I remember it took me days to find the right washer at plumb centre and cost me £9 just for the washer! So I'd like to replace the full flush and fill equipment for a newer dual flush if possible.

I've attached some pictures of the old kit. Anybody got any advice on which flush kit will work in this type of toilet? Does anybody know what type of flush is in the toilet at the minute? I can't find a similar one online.

Are new ones relatively easy to fit for a DIY beginner who's willing to have a go?

Im off out fell walking now so will see any replies and respond later today.

Any advice greatly appreciated. :)

Hi, many thanks for your reply. Do you happen to know the name of the existing flush kit that's in the toilet at the minute? I was hoping to buy another cheap washer, fit that for now and then fit the kit when I have a day off through the week.

I tried to find a washer last time it broke but nowhere sold them.
