Advice Needed: Removing Paint On Wood

Hi

First of all I hope everyone had a super Xmas.

Today I have striped the paint from one of my internal door frames using Nitro Mors.

It was really hard work as the there were many coats of old gloss on the frame.

Now I have removed 99% of the paint and have sanded down the surface Is it best to prime again with primer before painting the final coat?

if you go back to bear wood then you must always prime/undercoat/gloss coat.
