Hi I hope you are well.

I have 6 existing 240v gu10 downlights in a room, all from a single switch

I want to add a 60 watt 240v led light batten to the circuit.

the lights are aurora en-dlm981x and they have a fast fix connection (see picture), the light i have exposed has 1 twin and earth wire going in and 1 coming out.

the light batten has 3 x 3way wago's built in

I can easily get a cable(s) up through the roof from the batten to the light and the cables I have exposed.

how do I wire in the batten please?

cant, there are joists in the way. am i right that i just cut one of the cables and add like a spur for batten, so get wago's, common up live, neutral and earth for all 3 cables?

Yes. That is probably the proper way.

I note there are some spare holes in the bottom by the white wires. You maybe able to push wires in there (but not remove them in a hurry )
Some /most would call that a bodge.

I would call it more reliable as there are less joints.
