Hi,

Can anyone please tell me if I need to put flux onto the pipes that I will be joining with some 'internal, pre-soldered joints'? I would guess that they already have a mix of flux with the solder, but thought I'd better check as they don't come with instructions

Thanks

You always need to clean and flux the joints. Don't use more than a smear of flux though, it's not necessary. Solder paste is a neat way to get the flux in place with a bit of solder.

Yes, the tubes do need to be fluxed!
Clean the fitting and tubing first using wire wool or better still those green abrasive pads. Then apply flux to the tube before placing the fitting.
Yorkshire fittings only contain lead free solder.
