As above, it is wrong and he could have bedded the top tile so it didnt cockle when the ridge was put down. The tile has been cut at the bottom too and should have been cut at the top so you kept the factory edge exposed not a badly executed fresh cut. The pointing is not filled or smoothed to run water off and there is already a crack to the left edge of the ridge mortar. Also was there a reason why he didn't use reclaimed tiles as they stick out like a sore thumb ? I would say do it again in a tile that blends in and they are readily available so no excuse really.
