It was invented by the Romans.

read my post again on which you quoted, i said portland cement was invented in 1824 not the cement the romans invented, it is portland cement that we are using opc, (ORDINARY PORTLAND CEMENT) i clearly stated portland cement, unless your the only spread using roman cement

Portland cement simply uses Portland stone - but they didn't invent the principle - the Romans did. Get over it sunny jim.
get yourself at it a bit more why dont you joe? youve quite clearly quoted on my post saying that the romans had invented PORTLAND cement
