I have a light switch in my kitchen that controls two separate lights. The kitchen one and one in the dining room. The dining room light also has another switch located separate to the other switch.
My problem is the dining room switch doesn't work properly, if I turn the light off by the switch in the kitchen I can't turn it on with the switch in the dining room and vice versa.
Can someone please tell me how to rewire the two way switch in the kitchen. I only have 6 wires, two reds, two blacks and two earths. Inside the switch itself there is another red wire going from one of the terminals to the other but isn't fixed wire. I have taken a photo to show what is happening. The left hand side controls the dining room light.
Any advice would be gladly appreciated
