Goto put a rad back on a newly tiled bathroom wall. Any advice would be great, i dont want to split the nice new tiles :). What screws do you guys normally use when rehanging rads?

Depends on what the walls made of.

'HSS' high speed steel is great for accurately getting started and drilling the glazed tile (blunts drill bits rapidly).
Then a masonry bit WITHOUT hammer on for the ceramic part of the tile.

You can also get specific drill bits for specific materials (if you've lots of money)

I wouldn't risk owt other than the correct tool for the job.

And make sure you push the raw plug past the tile into the wall. seen loads split the tiles if too big a screw used. Also either put tape on tile to stop drill bit going every where or put i slight nick into tile to guide it

and put some sellotape over the point where you will drill to stop the bit slipping.

you can scratch the tile with the drill bit to make sure it doesn't slip. i found this useful when i only had masking tape which itself slipped about on the greasy/soapy tile.

Try degreasing/de-soaping? the tiles first. Jif.
