I have built a wooden workshop in the garden, plus office.

The roof is a profiled metal one in brown.

The wood has been oiled with linseed oil and so will stay this golden/brown colour.

I have 2 windows and 2 doors which will need painting, but am not sure on which colour to go for. Any ideas on what would look good? I know it is all subjective, but i would appreciate your opinions. You may have seen similar garden units in your time.

My wife likes the idea of a soft green.

My neighbours painted their front door in a "soft green", and a friend jokingly said that it was "Farrow & Ball 'posh shed' colour". So yes, go for that.

Thanks for the links.

You can see from the photo that the french doors and windows have been painted in white and the front door on the lawn is green.

So can i just sand these down and use the cuprinol range or do i have to go back to bare wood with this product ?

I think the wood finishes product has to be applied to bare wood.

The same green as your door for the rest (had to look twice for the "door").
