AEG Favorit dishwasher single flash of end of program LED

Hi

I have an AEG dishwasher, probably 8 years old but it's had a fairly easy life. It's built in.

I try the 30 minute program. It starts and I can feel water entering the machine through the inlet for a couple of minutes. It fills inside the bottom of the machine.

Then it drains for another couple of minutes removing the water OK.

Then it stops, with a repeating single beep and a repeating single flash of the end of program LED. And the 30 minute program LED flashes.

I did RTFM. It says "The dishwasher does not fill with water." It does - I can see water in it if I open the machine after the fill. I have cleaned filters and there are no visible kinks in the inlet or outlet pipes.

Similar things happen if I try the other programs.

Any ideas on what to check next please?
