My new AEG oven instructions recommend a fuse min 15A max 20A.
My old oven was jointly connected to a 32A fused consumer unit. Do I need to fit a separate fused unit for the oven ?

What is a fused unit? Many units have fuses in them and could therefore be described as fused units. What wiring arrangements do you have for the cooker right now, and what other appliances do you have there?

The consumer unit is the one with all the trips for the individual circuits for the house. The 32 A one is dedicated to the cooker. Currently the oven and the electric hob are wired directly to this fuse / trip.
