AET 4202CT Transformer

Hi, I need to replace a AET 4202CT transformer. The transformer is supplied by ANCHORN ENTERPRISE CO., LTD in China and the minimum order is for 500 (I only want one!!) Anybody out there know where to buy one of these transformers or an equivalent make in the UK?

That appears to ba a 12 Volt 80 Watt switch mode power supply. Almost any suitably rated lighting 'transformer' would do the job, but you might have problems with fixings because of the different package dimensions.

Most are designed to be mounted above the ceiling rather than inside a light fitting. Perhaps you could do that?

Just add up the wattage of all the lamps to be supplied by the transformer, and select one with a suitable output range. Make sure the correct lamps are fitted too. A 50 Watt lamp in a fitting designed for a 20 Watt lamp risks dangerous overheating as well as giving the unit a very short life expectancy.
