Affordable Usable Classic

So will your daughter be driving this 'classic car'?

You do know that new drivers have lots of bumps in their first car?

Does mrs Bod have a driving license? If she does, add her as secondary driver (and maybe yourself) on your daughters insurance policy even if either of you will never drive it - you’d be surprised how much cheaper the insurance will be.

She hasn't drove in this country for near on 19 years. Yet she is on my insurance for my van and car.

Not sure how it works now with new drivers. I was on my dad's insurance, not sure its that easy now?

Definitely is. Everyone with kids does it (as long as they’ve not got motoring convictions of course).,

My daughter is 26, been driving since she was 18 and still lives at home. Adding me and the wife still brings the cost of her insurance down. Adding her to my insurance sends it up.

Do they do so that she could then build up her own no claims?

I was told that adding someone is safer as the assumption is that you will share the driving on long journeys
