We had normal.

Then we democratically decided we no longer wanted normal, and that what we wanted was this new arrangement, where in a move unprecedented in human history we voted to erect barriers to trade where none had existed before.

What we have now is the new reality, freely chosen by the electorate, and I so wish they would stop all this whingeing about having got what they asked for.
