Hi

I am moving a ground floor toilet away from an outside wall by about 3 meters (towards the middle of the house). In other words, extending the soil pipe by about 3 - 3.5 meters. The existing drain is downstream of the stack pipe. Will I need an AAV? If so can it go inside a back-to-wall toilet cabinet?

Thanks to everyone for he useful advice.

that is the correct way to install for the layout as you mentioned
a a valve not always necessary but easier to fit now rather than later

One more question... can the AAV go on the drain side of the toilet or must it be at the top end of the run?

Thanks

any configuration will do ideally the a a valve should be higher than the spill over level of the pan
