Hello.

I've got an air brick near the top of our bedroom wall that's letting in lots of cold air. Can this be blocked up or will this cause other problems? There is no fire in the room, it is warmed by central heating.

Thanks,
Cliftons

I've seen them papered over and sealed in before, I don't think it will cause a problem. You can also get cover vents which you can open and close.

Air bricks were an old bulding regulations requirement to reduce condensation risk in bedrooms which had no open fireplace, and hence no permanent ventilation.
In latter years, most get blocked off, but if you do this, ensure that the room is kept reasonably warm to reduce the risk of condensation.
