Hi. I breed exotic animals, kept in out door shed, very well insulated. At the moment I use a 2Kw fan heater for the winter months and a portable air con unit during summer.
The two are becoming expensive particulary the fan heater in winter as energy prices keep on rising. Done a lot of reasearch on these d.i.y heat pump & air con units. Has any one got one, or used one. Does any one know if they are up to the job ? I understand the air con bit, but it baffles me as to where it gets the heat from, and is it capable of keeping a constant temperature of say 60 degF (15c) I am begining to think this may work out cheaper to run, am I right.http://www.aircon247.com/p/1197795/...onditioner-with-5-meter-pipe-best-seller.html
