Air hose help

i have just bought a retractable air line , i asked the shop if it would fit my air tools and they said it would as its a standard fitting .

The problem as i have now discoverd is that the hose i bought is a 3/8 and the tools i have are 1/4 , i have asked the shop but they say there is nothing wrong so cant help . (wont use them again )

so question is is there a coupling that i can attach to the end of hose (3/8 ) that will reduce down to a 1/4 so i can attach my tools ?

i have asked various tool diy shops but they dont seem to know what im talking about , surley i cant be the first person to come across this problem

any help would be appreciated

Your best bet is to get a PCL Vertex quick release connector, with a 3/8" thread to go on your air line, and the tails to go on your air tools.

Although these are a bit on the expensive side so shop around.
