Hi

I wonder if someone can advise.

My rads have not produced much heat for along time even with the Boiler on Max No.6. Ideal Boilers told me to replace the Thermistor and the Circuit board which has made no improvement. Yesterday an engineer from Ideal came to the house. He teThis is sample text the heat of the water in the Heat Exchanger and it was around 84 Deg C which is correct for no. 6 setting on the boiler.

However the Flow out pipe only measures around 38 - 40 then switches off. He told me that the heat was not getting awa from the Heat Exchanger and said there was air trapped in the Heat Exchanger.
It also makes a noise like a toilet refilling all the time.

How do I go about fixing this. How do I remove the air trapped in the Heat Exchanger, and How do I prevent it happening again.

I have an Ideal Classic 250FF - 7 years old. The system is micorbore.

Please please help.

Thanks

Kevin :)
