Good Morning guys,
I had BC over this morning to inspect external drains before backfill. I have a number of roddable gullies on the system. I was told by email from BC that air test wasn't required on external work but upon arrival requested air test on external. This has been left for a later day.
I attempted an air test a couple of weeks ago for my own piece of mind and it was failing, I pressume on the bottle gullies as the system filled with water for 24 hours showed no drop.
I can only fill up to the top of the new inspection chamber as it's all ground level stuff so no head of water.
Is there a sealant on the market recommended to place around the O ring on the gullies to stop them leaking air, or is it a case of taking them back and saying they're not fit for purpose.
Thanks in advance
