air tight floor?

hello im new and have tried looking through threads but cant find my answer.
i am boarding over uneven floorboards upstairs in a 1955 house. im using 9mm wpb.

do i need to worry about ventilation.. as its going to be pretty air tight once its done?

the upstairs floor does not have a source of damp under it so not a prob

downstairs floors need ventilation because they are prone to moisture rising from the ground.

make access traps if they will be needed for plumbing etc

Look for pipes and cables under the floor before you nail into them
