Hi
Not sure if this is the right section to ask this but if not I'm sure it will be moved. I have a septic tank in my garden which was already there when I moved in, it's not that old, 1979 I think. I have just rotovated the garden and uncovered a 6" air vent that was in the ground on the outlet side of the tank, this must have had some sort of cover on it and was covered with earth. My question is what do I do with it, I don't really want a pipe sticking out of my lawn, is there a special cover for it, do I need it as it was covered up before. There is a vent on the inlet side which goes back through the house and out the roof.
