Got one on the cold tap but not the hot. The inside of the tap is smooth, so they don't screw in. Plumbers merchants (even the biggie!) don't stock. Where do you get them?

Cheap taps normally. Why do you want to replace? Like your hands in a Jacuzzi type fizz do you?

I expect you're right but as the taps were here when I moved in I can't comment on their price.

I don't want to replace (either the taps or the airator). Read the post. I want an additional one.

No. Don't want " a Jacuzzi type fizz "

Now, anyone got a sensible comment?

There was a sensible question in there. To paraphrase, why do you feel it needs one?

Like all forums, sometimes you get helpful replies, sometimes you don't.

ah well. If no one knows (or is willing to say!) where these can be bought I'll take the search elsewhere.

Maybe there is not one on the hot water because it is too restrictive and if on a header tank fed supply it may provide too little water. If on a combi, it can be too little to operate the flow switch.
Why not expand your point as requested instead of flouncing.

Not flouncing. Just surprised how reluctant people are to provide a simple answer to a simple question.

Yes, I could have asked "Do I need one of these? Will it help, or will it have any adverse effect?" and in that case, perfectly reasonable fo ask for further info before advising.

But a simple "Where can I buy...." question just requires a simple "Have you tried www.xxxx" or "The best place to look is ......"
