Decent Plumbers Merchant near Crewe

I've got a problem with my shower mixer tap; the diverter keeps dropping and sticking so that the shower does not function. I'm hoping that I can simply replace the diverter unit, but have no idea where to get one (I don't even know what the make of tap is). So I'm guessing I'll simply need to take the diverter unit to a Plumbers Merchant to see if they have the same type.

Does anyone have any suggestions on which Plumbers Merchant around Crewe (or further afield if necessary) which is likley to have a good stock.
