Hi all, hope you're all well, sorry to bother you.
Currently building a small extension and there are two air bricks in the way....pretty much exactly at finished floor level, I'm guessing from my quick interweb research that these are the telescopic type and actually ventilate lower than they appear from the outside. Floor in the main house is of a block and beam construction.
Extension will be block and beam also, I'm just wondering how easy (or otherwise) it would be to move these? Either moving the air brick down two bricks and shortening the telescopic section, so it vents beneath the extension - which will have it's own air bricks, or moving them to a position outside of the extension altogether.
How many bricks can be safely removed for the repositioning? My apologies if these are potentially daft questions, learning as I go as always.
