I am replacing one of two airvent covers (it's a bricked up chimney breast). The problem is I can only find plastic or metal ones, which don't really go with a period property. The existing one is in plaster I think, with little bits of hair in it to make it stronger and could be painted the same colour as the wall. Could anyone suggest where I may find something like that these days.
