Alarm for float switch

Our cellar has a water pump, in case of flooding. There's an audible alarm connected to a float switch, should the pump fail. The alarm seems to be broken, it just feebly beeps on an open circuit. The float switch is working fine. The battery is also good.

Does anyone know where you'd be able to buy a replacement battery powered alarm? Just something that will sound on a closed circuit (a bit like a smoke detector, but without the smoke detection).

I assumed this would be easy to get hold of, but all I can find are more sophisticated devices.

I should have explained a bit more. The cellar is tanked and there's a water container (bucket) below the floor that any moisture water will pool into. This bucket contains the pump and also a float switch that will create a closed electrical circuit should the pump fail and the water level rise too high.

The float switch has two wires that feed into the alarm. The alarm beeps if the circuit is closed (the water level has got too high).

I suppose I could use the water sensor alarm suggested, but I was really after an alarm that could be connected to the existing sensor.

Perhaps I could remove the sensor from the suggested alarm and connect the alarm part to my existing sensor?

Are you sure that unit hasn’t been modified ?
As that unit is still available
