Alarm replacement

I fitted an Accenta G3 12 years ago and would like to replace it with a G4 with the LCD keypad.

One thing that's putting me off is how do I prevent external sounder going off when it's no longer connected.

Can anyone offer some advice before I upset my neighbours?

Put the 12v + and 0v from the bell on the alarm battery.

You will probably find its the same case ! Carefully flip the old pcb out still connected to the transformer put the new pcb in power up battery only and swop over your bell supply connections then the over wires !
