New Forum Help Alerts problem

There were two Alerts flagged up when I logged on. One was for a topic I am following, so I also received an email notification.

The other alert was for a topic I stopped watching on 18th June. ( I always stop watching 8 days after the last post.)

Was the alert sent because mine was the last post and someone has now decided to reply?

If you have a look at your alert preferences:

It lists the conditions which cause an alert to be sent. Is it because you have 'Quotes your message' ticked and someone has quoted you by any chance?

Yes!

So that's a new feature and I can see the benefit of it.
