The Commons authorities have officially published one million expenses claims and receipts of MPs over the past four years today but have censored some of the most damaging information. The online publication excludes all rejected claims and their addresses, disguising the extent to which politicians used the "flipping" tactic to redesignate their second homes so they maximised their income.

Having had a look at a few of these claims, the censorship is so drastic that the claims could be for anything from rent-boys to pornographic magazines and we would never know.

Just another cover-up then.
