Alpha 240e Boiler (loud noise)

Hi, I have an Alpha 240E boiler which works fine with the exception of when I trurn the hot water tap on it males a howling noise at the boiler, also first thing in the morning the hot water takes ages to warm up and then goes really hot.

Its waking my 3 year old daughter up at night so I need to do something about it. Can anyone please advise ?
