Hi guys. Need your help. My boiler, when I run the tap. It turns on and off constantly. (the burner). I'm getting hot and cold water instead of a constant flow of hot water. The heating works great. Boiler works fine then. The water pressure is normal as it's always checked. Had a problem last year with the diverter valve leaking so replaced that. This year I have this problem. Don't know where to start. Could there be some kind of faulty water pressure sensor or something. Just need a push in the right direction so I can do some diagnosing.

I will check. Thanks. Could there be anything else to look for before I striping it down. Wouldnt there be a problem with the heating also if it was the heat exchanger?
No, when ch is on the plate heat exchanger is not used. All the ch water passes through the main heat exchanger.

Yes of course. Got you. Will be taking out the heat exchanger once everyone is done with the using the water. I don't know the name, but any idea how much air pressure should be in the reservour on the side. It says max 3 bar.
If you mean the expansion vessel, then pump it up to 1 bar, 15psi with the system cold and no pressure in it.
