If that fails, see how much gas you're burning.
With hot water taps full on, you should snort about 1 cubic foot in 37 seconds.

Did you change both sensors or just the one?
If you didn't take the main one out, it might be covered in clag. Plug your old hw one on the wires & check the boiler gets jolly hot - carefully .

Have you checked the resistance of the two sensors with the boiler cold?

What did you use to clean the secondary heat exchanger?

hi g60bv there was loads of black bit came out when i drained the boiler down had heating on all day so will see if pipes stay cold tomorrow when i try the hot water cheers

Hi g60bv. I have exactly that problem with the diverter where the DH is heating up the CH flow pipe. I replaced the large diaphram a few months back when it turned to mush and i checked the smaller one (on top of the diverter?) which needs relacing. You say you can get service kits for the diverter? Am i on the right track?
